July 13 to December 18, 2026
To accommodate rehabilitation work on the Progress Avenue Bridge over Highway 401, traffic on Progress Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction (one northbound lane and one southbound lane).
July 16 to October 9, 2026
The southbound Progress Avenue ramp to Highway 401 Eastbound Collectors will be closed for the rehabilitation of the Progress Avenue Bridge over Highway 401. To access Highway 401 Eastbound Collectors, follow the signed D-1 detour route via northbound Markham Road.
July 16 to October 9, 2026
Lane 2 of Ramp Highway 401 Westbound Collectors to Markham Road Northbound and Southbound will be closed for construction.
July 24 to July 25, 2026
The McCowan Road southbound ramp to Highway 401 Eastbound Collectors will be closed from 10:00 PM on Friday, July 24, to 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 25, to facilitate rehabilitation of the Highway 401 Eastbound shoulder. During this closure, traffic will be detoured via Ellesmere Road eastbound to the Markham Road on-ramp.

August 28 to August 31, 2026
Highway 401 eastbound collector lanes will be partially closed between Kennedy Road and Markham Road to facilitate concrete base repairs. Two left lanes will be closed from Friday, August 28 at 10:00 p.m. until Monday at 5:00 a.m.
Please note that there may be periods during the closure when no workers are visible on site, due to concrete curing. During this operation, the transfer lanes at Midland Avenue and east of McCowan Road will also be closed.
September 11 to September 14, 2026
Highway 401 eastbound collector lanes will be partially closed between Brimley Road and Markham Road for road rehabilitation. Two left lanes will be closed from Friday, September 11 at 10:00 p.m. until Monday September 14 at 5:00 a.m.
Please note that there may be periods during the closure when no workers are visible on site, due to concrete curing. During this operation, the transfer lanes at Midland Avenue and east of McCowan Road will also be closed.
September 25 to September 28, 2026
Highway 401 westbound collectors from before Kennedy Rd to Neilson Rd will have two right lanes closed
On-ramps from Corporate Dr and McCowan Rd northbound and southbound and Kennedy Rd northbound to Highway 401 westbound collectors will be closed from 10:00 p.m. Friday September 25th to 9:00 a.m. Saturday September 26th.
On-ramps from Markham Rd and Progress Ave Northbound will be closed from 10:00 pm Saturday September 26th to 9:00 a.m. Sunday September 27th.
Off-ramps from Highway 401 westbound collectors to Markham Road, McCowan Rd, Neilson Rd and Progress Ave northbound and southbound and Brimley Rd southbound will be closed.
The Highway 401 westbound express to collector transfer at McCowan Rd will be closed.
October 2 to October 4, 2026
Highway 401 westbound collectors from before Kennedy Rd to Neilson Rd will have two right lanes closed.
Kennedy Road Northbound to Highway 401 Eastbound will be closed from Friday at 10:00 PM to Saturday at 7:00 AM.
Highway 401 Eastbound off-ramp to Brimley Road and Progress Avenue will be closed from Friday at 10:00 PM to Sunday at 8:00 PM.
Highway 401 Eastbound off-ramp to Brimley-Progress will be closed from Friday at 10:00 PM to Sunday at 8:00 PM.
Highway 401 Eastbound off-ramp to McCowan will be closed from Friday at 10:00 PM to Sunday at 8:00 PM.
Express to Collectors transfer 3 and 4 will be closed from Friday at 10:00 PM to Sunday at 8:00 PM.
